I eat vegan here all the time. I either order a BRC Without the cheese, add pico de gallo and avocado. Or, I order a loco salad with a side of beans and rice and stuff it in tortillas. You can also custom make a bowl with rice, black beans, pinto beans, roasted corn, avocado, salsa…. YUM!! You can get any of the salads without chicken. They are delicious!

I purchased a bowl with pinto beans, rice, corn, and avocado and there were chunks of bacon in the pinto beans. I thought these were supposed to be vegan!? I took a few small bites before I realized and now I’m disgusted. 🙁

The beans are vegan. The bacon probably fell into the beans on accident. I know this because I work at two pollo loco locations. Next time back sure to ask them to be careful! I eat vegan here all the time because sometimes I have no choice. You can customize everything!
