Unfortunately, I cannot visit Tim Horton’s since I was diagnosed as Celiac and have to eat gluten free. You do not have any products that are gluten free like the other Coffee shops who have cookies, muffins etc. I also am lactose intolerant and I believe you are the only coffee establishment that do not offer lactose free milk. You are losing so much business because there are so many people that use lactose free milk but more to the point there is nothing to order that is gluten free and some of the staff no nothing about gluten free when you ask them for products that are gluten free. I do hope this will change but there seems to be little effort being made. You show macaroons on your internet but they were discontinued a year ago.
You should show on your menu if you have any gluten free products. I use to go to Tim’s so much but since my diagnosis of Celiac I have had to change to Starbucks as they offer many items that are gluten free plus they always have lactose free milk.
I look forward to a reply of my e-mail.
Sincerely,
Carol McCanse

I’m so confused reading your response, Carol. The entire list about is the “Gluten Free” list…?
Marsha
Lol, I was confused also reading Carols comment. It is a great list of gluten free products

Cross contamination is a big concern for someone with celiac disease. Even a single crumb can set off nasty reactions that last for days. Tim’s is more than coffee, and staffers touch all sorts of contaminated products without opportunity to wash hands before serving each customer. If you were to touch a muffin or donut for a customer then touch my cup or lid Id be sick. Tim’s does not take cross contamination as seriously as some other establishments.

Nothing really good, ie corn instead of flour wraps. Just not enough varieties. Subway offers a glutenfree wrap. Not rocket science
Bruce
Thank you. Appreciate the exstensive menu for gluton free.
Martha
I too get very discouraged that they don’t carry any lactose free products!
Unless I bring my own, I just get to watch others enjoy their coffee n milk or cream or milk based flavourswas told they were using dairy free in some TH, but sadly not any I have asked at

I took my grandkids to Tim Hortons for breakfast this morning. I’m allergic to wheat products. All their breakfast sandwiches have wheat buns, so I asked if I could order just the sausage. I was told no, that I would need to order a complete sandwich. What is the point of listing gluten free breakfast components if you can’t even order them without the bun? Very disappointed!
Vanessa Oakley
I found that if you ask for a side of egg and whatever else you want, then it’s ok. You get it in a chili cup. I subsumed bring my bread
You do have to tell them to change gloves.
Susan Mackay
I had the same thing happen 🙁. Why could they not just give me the inside of the sandwich without the bun.
Susan Mackay
Celiac is a very serious issue. Not to be taken lightly. Along with gluten intolerance.
Doug
I order egg patties in a cup, and sausages in a cup and has browns at tims in nb regularly. It causes some confusion as the cashiers often don’t know how to ring it in but eventually they get it. Stick to your guns and try again. They will do it.
David
This list is incorrect. I just called the company and was told none of the soups or chili is gluten free. Please make sure you research these things before you post. Someone could get sick.
Lisa Runge-Faubert
Yikes seriously?! I’ve been eating their chili regularly with no issues. That sucks.
Megan MacDonald
I’m fairly certain the hot chocolate isn’t either – my legs have been KILLING me since I switched to half hot chocolate to try to ween myself off caffeine and I just found out online that the tin lists “May contain malted barley”. I want to call them to ask soon, but I’m 99% sure that’s the cause.
Candace
I have a ton of the HC and there is no “may contain malt barley”; the HC is GF.
A.E Kaplan
This is awesome!! I had no idea now I know I can go there and enjoy these things again!!!

Looking for a muffin , begal or do~ nut gluten free. Please
o
Your list is made up mostly of beverages…thanks for listing coffee, I wasn’t sure. 😐
There is absolutely nothing I can eat at Tim Hortons that is both Gluten and Dairy free, which is fine with me, as that means I won’t have to wash my clothes because they smell like smoke after sitting in one of these places.
I have never seen warm kettle chips at any Tim hortons.
The Potato wedges are breaded and contain wheat.
Wake up Tim Horton’s!! Times are changing. Time to break out of the double-double mould,

They should still offer gluten free bread for all of us who wants more than an egg patty or a sausage by itself. Gluten free stuff is frozen so it would not go bad if it doesn’t sell as fast as they want. Being Gluten Free and Dairy free is really hard! You end up eating the same thing over and over when you are out of the house. At time I just go hungry which is really bad for you! Eating a Salad with NO dressing is NOT always tempting might I say. Coconut or almond milk options for your coffee would be so much appreciated too.
Al Doherty
Quick question does you Tim Horton’s poutine gluten free ( Celiac ). Thank you,
Lisa Runge-Faubert
that would be amazing! Come on Timmies, stay competitive with the other coffee companies.
Ella
Hello,
It would be fantastic if you can carry gluten free, bagels, muffins or sandwich buns!!!
Please! Please! Please!
Thank you Tim Hortons!
Margaret McLean
A company as large as Tim Horton should have at least one donut gluten free . There are millions of us ,celiac , that you are missing out on . I know you have to take precautions and it is more expensive but even if you had one store
In a province that could make and send out to other stores.
I would pay gladly extra money for a fresh , soft donut. You have no idea what it is like. What if your grandchild couldn’t have a donut from any where?
Thanks for listening.
Gabriella Phillips
I have Celeac and would not ever attempt to eat anything from Tim Hortan’s. They are so behind the times. How bout some gf bagels or buns?? What is your hold up??
