OMG, I was at IHOP today and I wanted to get the House Salad, but the server purported that none of the dressings were vegan. He said the Balsamic Vinaigrette was “Honey Balsamic.”

What about the seasoned red potatoes? The servers have purported that there are no animal ingredients in them.

This is weird. Looking at IHOP’s 2014 “Allergen Information” publication, the Italian Dressing does not have allergen, but the Light Done Right Reduced Fat Italian Dressing has dairy. Wonder if that is backwards. But according to IHOP’s June 2014 “Nutrition Information,” neither one has cholesterol.

Based on both these publications, the Raspberry Vinaigrette, Fat Free Raspberry Vinaigrette, and Orange Vinaigrette should be vegan, but I don’t see an “Ingredients” listing.

The “Allergen Information” says the Seasoned Red Skin Potatoes have dairy, but the hash browns do not. According to “Nutrition Information,” neither one has cholesterol.

Guess the servers at I-HOP are not very knowledgeable about ingredients.

Sorry, i should mention .. you can ask them to make them with this cooking spray (like Pam). Not sure if all stores have it… it’s vegan as far as I could tell by the ingredients.

The lingonberry jelly that is on the Swedish crepes is vegan too but not the lingonberry butter, nor the crepe. :/

I got an English Muffin with tomatoe, avocado, and a bowl of grits. All with no butter. I also got a side of hash browns.

I went today and got steamed broccoli (not on the menu but comes as a side with entrees, so they will make it as an a la cart side).

What an embarrassment. IHOP doesn’t even have a veggie burger or a tofu scramble. Both very easy to make.

IHOP is opening next month in my town. Sadly, if I am going to take my family to, I want pancakes, which I cannot have as a vegan. And, I completely agree with “Jason”‘s comment that they should have a vegan-friendly burger (Super Easy) and a tofu scramble (Easy).

You mean lacto vegetarian. There aren’t any variation of vegan. So they don’t consume meat, dairy, eggs, honey or use anything from animals.

Let others eat as they wish without judging. I’m sure you have consumed animal products before

If you eat dairy, then you’re a vegetarian. Lacto-vegan makes no sense. Why don’t you just say vegetarian?

Bees pollinate the world so it’s gonna be hard not to eat something from a bee plus the bee isn’t dying from the consumption of its honey.

I just came from IHOP and they have a new side, red skinned potato hash, which is pretty much cubed red skinned potatoes that come with sautéed onions and green bell peppers. What I did was I ordered that and added the extras tomatoes, mushrooms, and spinach and it was SO good!!! The add ons are all .99¢ each and the original dish was around $2.50 so I ended up spending a couple dollars less than everyone in my group! Also I would suggest getting two servings of mushrooms because there weren’t that many on my plate. But this is now going to be my go to meal at IHOP!!

This website really needs to update its stuff. I just went to IHOP for a company breakfast and they don’t offer oatmeal anymore because no one ever ordered it. I ended up eating three servings of hash browns and a side of fruit. Update your website please I depend on it on the rare occasions I eat out😞…Word to IHOP it is super easy to make vegan pancakes it’s not even funny😠

We go there often because some of the kids in the family like getting their pancakes. However, my husband and I both get the red skin potatoes and add other vegetables to it as Candyce mentioned. I also sometimes get a sourdough toast with no butter and get a side of avocado and I can make my own avocado toast.

I am lactose intolerant. Could you please tell me what is available at your restaurant that is non-dairy. Are the pancakes non-dairy?
